Swap News!!!

Hello Christmas lovers!! Just a little news to share here today. It's 11 AM west coast time here in the US and we have only 7 spots left! How exciting is that? And just a little longer until the swap officially starts! We're really looking forward to a fun swap and thanks to everyone who has been introducing themselves and sharing some of their fun Christmas and holiday traditions with the rest of us :)

Now that there are only 7 spots left, we are unfortunately, going to have to be a little less relaxed about a few things. Some of you have not accepted your invitations to post to the swap site. I am going to resend any invitations older than August 13. If you do not accept your invitation by August 21, we are going to have to remove you from the swap unless you have extenuating circumstances of some kind (sickness, being on vacation etc.). I'm sorry to be such a stickler, but if you are not willing to participate in the blog then I'm afraid we may not be able to count on you to participate in the swap and that just wouldn't be fair to everyone else. Also, if you have received a membership confirmation but have not received an invite please let me know and I'll get one sent to you.

Also, Kasia is currently away on travel and has less access than she'd hoped to her e-mail, so please feel free to send your membership requests to me (Maryanne). I will however, be on my way out of town Saturday morning (August 18) so any requests made after that time will be on a first come first serve basis, meaning I will check the date and time that each e-mail was received and sign people up accordingly. If you are not able to make it into our 100 at this time, please don't worry. We *may* be able to add another 50 people to the swap and will keep your info on file.

O.k. Sorry to be such a scolding schoolteacher, but I guess we have to have a few "rules" here and there to keep things fair. We're looking forward to a really fun swap and meeting lots of new friends. Welcome everyone!! Happy Christmas Swap :)
