I'm really enjoying this swap so far, and I haven't even sent anything yet!
I now have ready to send to my partner: something to knit from (enough yarn for 1 skein/small project), something to knit with, a couple of somethings for the soul (which I interpret kinda loosely anyway---my soul is nourished by a lot of different things ;-), and something to hang on the Christmas Tree. Still figuring out something for the taste, and especially, what handknit thing I should be working on. (I know, I know, I'm leaving the thing that takes the longest for last....but I'm thinking hard!)

My pal is overseas, and I'm afraid that anything food-related I send will either explode, melt, rot, come out of its container, or become stale in transit (so I'm paranoid, I've never sent internationally before) so my solution to this was to find a recipe that I LOVE using over the holidays and writing it up nicely for my pal. I'm working on finding a very small and very reliable hard candy for her family to enjoy as an addition to the recipe.
Wonderful! Sounds like you are making fantastic progress :)
BTW: *Great* idea Didi about including your favorite recipe in your package to your pal! We highly encourage this :)
