Hi All,

Sorry, I don't have a blog, but here are my questionnaire answers:

1. ) Are you religious? No.
.) How long have you been knitting? Would you consider yourself a Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced? I've been knitting for about two years, and I would consider myself an intermediate knitter with great aspirations!
.) Do you have any other hobbies besides knitting? Hmmm, playing around on my computer? Cooking, baking, does constantly being on a diet count as a hobby??
.) Favorite color(s)? Earth colors, pastels, blues and greens, orange.
.) Do you collect anything? I don't really collect them, but I like little trinket boxes.
.) Are you allergic to any fibers or animals? Nope.
.) Do you have any pets? A dog, a cat, and two goldfish.
.) Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate? I like them all, but french vanilla flavored coffee is a favorite.
.) Cookies or Sweets? Both, especially if chocolate is one of the ingredients!
.) Do you knit socks? I haven't yet, but I'd like to.
.) If not socks then what? (tell us about your favorite knits) Things for babies (gets me closer to that instant gratification I so seem to need!), scarves, being to love to knit lace things (although, I'm still a beginner there).
.) Do you put up a Christmas tree? If not then what do you do? Yes, absolutely. Love to do that with the kids.
.) Favorite holiday treats? Gingerbread, candy canes, hot chocolate...
.) Favorite holiday smells? Cookies baking, a fresh live Christmas tree, peppermint, gingerbread...
.) Do you celebrate Christmas in a traditional or unconventional way? Please elaborate. Pretty traditional - have a tree, stockings, Santa brings presents...
.)What are your favorite holiday traditions? Decorating the tree with the kids, seeing their excitement when they rush to see what Santa brought, even the whole madness of Christmas shopping!!
.) Finish the sentence: “For me Christmas is all about....” my children.
.) If you were a Christmas ornament you would be…….? Maybe a beautiful crystal pine tree.
.) What was your favorite gift you've ever received? Or given? Anything and everything my children have made and given to me. My favorite gifts to give are my handmade gifts (knitted, of course!).
.) When do you start your Christmas? Shopping is done year-round (find a great gift at a great price, I'll save it for Christmas), buying a tree and decorating it - about 1-2 weeks before Christmas.
.) Do you send Christmas cards? Do you make them or buy them? I have for the past three years or so. They're usually photo cards, and the kids decorate the envelopes.
.) What is your favorite Christmas dish? Don't really know.
.) Carolers are at your door. What do you do? I've never had carolers at my door, but we'd probably sing with them.
.) When do you open presents? Christmas eve or Christmas morning? Christmas Eve with the whole extended family, Christmas morning from Santa and Mommy.
.) Do you celebrate with family or friends or both? Both.

Happy weekend, everyone!

Thanks for sharing Janice! Like you, I shop all year round. If I find the perfect thing for someone, why wait until Christmas when I might have forgotten about it? It's nice to be a bit prepared and have half your shopping done by the time the holiday rolls around :) Hope you're enjoying the swap so far and thanks for filling out your questionnaire!
